Short Story by Shiv Murti

Sitting on the power lines, all neighborhood birds convened a meeting to decide which vehicle below is the cleanest. There were arguments and counter arguments. Finally, they unanimously reached an agreement and selected a vehicle to make their target.

A Poem based on the short story by Ashok Gupta.

On a wintery day.
A scene often repeated.
This time something ominous.

A flock talking to each other.
In chirps never heard before.
A foreign language?
No way to tell.
Need AI to decipher.
Then silence.

Collective action followed.
Poor owner of a car.
Could have been my car.
Benefit of being lazy!
