The day we have dreaded.
The day we have feared
Is finally here
MAGAs in unison raising a cheer.

As the clock strikes noon
The torch will pass to a goon
Who was handed the keys on a silver spoon
Now he dances to his own tune!

No where to hide
Oligarchs will thrive
Poor will barely get by
Will our liberal democracy survive?

The man we deride
Has henchmen by his side
Ego is his only guide
Will cause chaos worldwide
It will be a Disneyland ‘s “E-ride”!

Isn’t it ironic, it’s also the MLK Day
On such a historic occasion he gets the reins
He is an antidote to MLK
Human blood doesn’t flow in his veins.

This too shall pass
What’s left will be a big morass
Every corner will face fracas
Cleaning crew will be needed enmasse.

Let’s not lose hope
Keep the candle lit
Let’s go do our bit.

Maintain our humanity
That’s the only way to survive,
this tragic calamity.

God save America the country we love.
