My Haikus (#6-#10) – Mid Term Elections

Haiku is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan. Traditional Japanese haiku consist of three phrases (phonetic units similar to syllables) in a 5, 7, 5 pattern.

Trump a big loser
acting like an enraged bull
Looking for scape goat

DeSantis, not Trump
a big winner, prince charming
Out Trumped his mentor

Mitch McConnel, morose
misery, his own making
Not convicting Trump

Election Deniers
liars, conspiracy mongers
apropos losers

Democrats, Phoenix
left for dead, alive, rising
Boring, yet winners
